Wow what a fantastic week we had last week as we started our journey into home delivery. Thank you all so much for your support. With 25 customers placing 37 orders there was lots to do, and a few ingredient buying challenges to overcome along the way, but all went well and we had great feedback.
We offered 4 types of cake (chocolate, white chocolate, banoffee and lemon) each with a choice of 3 different toppings. The best seller was the chocolate toblerone cake pictured above, closely followed by the white chocolate and raspberry.
The selection boxes of a muffin, a brownie, a Bakewell slice, a flapjack and a slice of cake also proved popular. A few of our regular customers also wanted a delivery of 6 x brownies, 6 x muffins or 6 x flapjacks so we quickly added this to our options list.
What next? Well after a good start and what looks likely to be a long wait before coffee shops are back to business as usual we will be ramping up the delivery service and hope to be able to brighten your day, or that of a loved on a special occasion.
